Marriott Memphis East

I recently visit the Marriott travel 15 hours away from home. Me and my partner experienced very rude front desk employees. When we asked questions regarding how much was everything she claimed she didn’t know. She was very rude not answering questions. We was waiting in line with no one in front of and she was on her phone. Not willingly to help. We decided to stay there twice. And it was the same attitude. Then I came down to ask another employee at the front desk her name to fill out a complaint and he was being smart saying “he didn’t work last night” if I could give a -0 I would. To have people represent your company and with that attitude would really lower the stars.

Very nice hotel and the staff is amazing. The only negative is the temperature in the room. Staying during a heat wave and my room temp never went below 73F and most of the time 75-76F. The front desk staff had it checked and apparently it was working fine, just super hot outside. Again, nice rooms, great staff, just seriously hot room.

This hotel really needs an update. My first room had a squeaky springy bed and they switched me to a different room with a better bed. Talking to other people who stayed here they had springy beds as well. I got stuck in the elevator for 10 minutes and only two of three elevators ever worked at one time while I was here sometimes only one worked. The gym is decent. The staff was great, very friendly, but they can only do so much with what they have.I definitely won’t be back to this hotel, until it gets an update. Not a great example of Marriott Quality.
